Locator® Overdenture Attachment
The Locator attachment makes it easy for your patient to seat his or her own denture in the right place every time. It features a very low profile and is an extremely durable product. When used with the Tapered Screw-Vent implant, the height of the Locator attachment is as low as 2.5mm. The unique design retains on the inside and outside of the abutment resulting in a strong, stable design and less wear on the nylon liners. The durability of the Locator attachment also means fewer recall visits for your patients.
A variety of abutment heights, angulation correction, and levels of retention are available to help the clinician or laboratory technician create the optimum overdenture restoration for each case.

One-Piece Ball Abutments
Zimmer Dental's one-piece Ball Abutment allows for an overdenture to be securely retained by an implant, improving function compared to traditional denture use. The Ball Abutment is an economical choice for a tissue-supported overdenture.
The metal cap and nylon liners are incorporated in the denture acrylic and snap over the ball to retain the denture.
Locator® Bar Attachment System
The Locator Bar Attachment System offers three options for the fabrication of a resilient attachment on an implant-retained cast alloy bar or milled titanium bar. Now all of the benefits of the Locator attachments are available for use when added stability on a bar is desired. All of the Locator attachment parts are universal, therefore your existing denture components and tools on hand can be utilized for the new Locator Bar Females.
Option 1: When simplicity and flexibility are desired, the Drill & Tap option can be used. You simply drill, tap, and thread the new Locator Bar Female into your implant-retained bar. If at any time you need to revise or repair the bar, the clinician can simply remove the abutments and change the females. This eliminates the need for a laboratory procedure to make the necessary revisions on the bar.
Option 2: The Locator Laser Bar Female can be laser welded to a cast alloy bar. Use the Locator Paralleling Mandrel in a surveyor to position the Laser Bar Female and simply weld it into place.
Option 3: The third option allows you to cast the attachment to the cast alloy bar. The newly designed Locator Cast-To Bar Female is positioned by using the Locator Paralleling Mandrel in a surveyor and then waxing the attachment into the bar. The precision machined finish of the attachment is maintained by casting the gold alloy to the Locator Cast-To Bar Female.
