Tapered Screw-Vent Implant System: Friction-fit Internal Hex Connection

Implant platform designed for success

Zimmer’s proprietary friction-fit internal hex connection is a unique combination of designs that has been shown to reduce stress on crestal bone and to resist abutment screw loosening, thus creating favorable conditions for bone level maintenance. 1-3

  • A lead in bevel and 1.5 mm deep internal hex reduce horizontal bone stresses and distribute forces deep within the implant, thereby shielding the retention screw from excessive loading. 1-3
  • The proprietary friction-fit component of the connection virtually eliminates abutment micromovement (a primary cause of screw loosing) when tightened to the recommended 30 Ncm of applied torque.1 This means fewer return patient visits, less chair time, and increased patient satisfaction.
