Zimmer Dental Featured in Popular Body Worlds Exhibit
For a special one-week period, Zimmer Dental products and educational programs were
prominently featured in a special display by the Oregon Health Science University
School of Dentistry at the renowned Body Worlds exhibit.
The
Tapered Screw-Vent® Implant System
and the
Hex-Lock™ Contour Abutment
were on display for thousands of visitors to observe. A variety of patient education
materials were also distributed to increase public awareness of dental implants.
Body Worlds features more than 200 authentic organs and 25 whole-body specimens,
specially preserved through a process that replaces bodily fluids and fats with
hardened fluid plastics.
The popular exhibit opened June 7 at OHSU, in partnership with the Oregon Museum
of Science and Industry.
