 Zimmer Dental is a diverse group of professionals from different backgrounds and
areas of expertise. Positions range from Design Engineer to Warehouse Clerk, from
Marketing Prof. to Machinist. While these positions keep employees working in very
different areas, each is aware of the importance of their fellow employees' role.
Teamwork is exemplified here, with representatives from different departments coming
together to work on project-oriented task forces and fun-oriented committees.
One such committee is the Events Committee, whose main goal is
to ensure that all employee appreciation events are a success. To recognize
the hard work and dedication of the employees, Zimmer Dental hosts a monthly appreciation
event. These events can run the gamut from full-blown catered parties to pizza
parties and ice cream socials. It is a time for us all to relax and enjoy each other’s
company.
Events like these lead to friendships that extend outside the office. It is
common to see a group head out at lunch to surf or run, go to the gym, or just do
some shopping. When asked about what they enjoy most about working at Zimmer Dental,
the majority of employees will say "the people."
